Retired teacher Mary was worried that her life would become monotonous. After getting involved in golf, she would meet with golfers every week to practice and play games. The 70-year-old walks briskly on the golf course and said, “I used to wait for my children to visit me at home, but now they always ask, ‘Mom, did you win again today?'” After retirement, Mary’s life fell into a dull state, but golf completely changed this situation. Every week, she would meet with her golfers on the golf course to practice skills and exchange experiences. Participating in senior golf events has helped her regain her passion and goals in life. Walking and swinging on the golf course not only exercises her body and keeps her in good physical condition, but also expands her social circle and makes her meet many like-minded friends. Today, her life is fulfilling and wonderful. Golf has made her old age shine with a different kind of brilliance, and she is busier and happier than before retirement.
